Chinese Doctors may not ask very many questions and depending on your ailment may only take your pulse and look at your tongue. However, in some circumstances a full, longer Consultation may be needed.
The practice of inserting very fine, single use, sterile needles into the skin to stimulate acupoints for therapeutic purposes. Acupuncture can used for a wide range of symptoms or conditions. These include anxiety states, arthritis, asthma, back pain, circulatory problems, depression, facial paralysis, fibrositis, high blood pressure, indeterminate aches and pains, infertility menstrual problems, migraines, rheumatism, sciatica, skin conditions or ulcers.
It has proved to be effective in pregnancy management and for the relief of pain in childbirth. Acupuncture is also helpful for people trying to overcome addictions such as those related to smoking, alcohol, food or drugs. It can also be used alongside conventional medicine in the treatment of both acute and chronic disease. As with any therapy, the response to acupuncture can vary from one person to another.
Tuina (Deep Tissue Medical Massage)
Tuina translates loosely into "push-grasp". Physically, it is the pressing and kneading with palms, fingertips, knuckles to help the body to remove blockages along the meridians of the body and stimulates the flow of qi and blood to promote healing, similar to principles of acupuncture and acupressure. Tuina's massage-like techniques range from light stroking to deep-tissue work which would be considered too vigorous or too painful for a recreational or relaxing massage.

Fire cupping is a method of applying acupressure by creating a vacuum next to the patient's skin. The therapy is used to relieve "stagnation", and is used in the treatment of respiratory diseases such as the common cold, pneumonia, and bronchitis. Cupping is also used to treat back, neck, shoulder, and other musculoskeletal pain.
Reflexology (Foot massage)
The practice of massaging, squeezing, or pushing on parts of the feet with the goal of encouraging a beneficial effect on other parts of the body, or to improve general health
