Eczema and Psoriasis
Eczema is a kind of skin inflammation caused by a variety of internal and external factors. There are three stages: acute, subacute, and chronic. The acute phase has a tendency to exudate, and the chronic phase is infiltrating and hypertrophic. Some patients directly manifested as chronic eczema. The skin lesions are characterized by pleomorphism, symmetry, itching and recurring attacks.
Psoriasis is a common chronic and recurring inflammatory skin disease with characteristic skin lesions. At first, it is an inflammatory red papule, about the size of a mung bean, and then gradually expands or merges into a brown-red patch, with a clear boundary, inflammatory blush around, obvious base infiltration, and multiple dry gray-white or silver-white scales on the surface.
Eczema has a complicated etiology and is often the result of the interaction of internal and external factors. Internal factors such as chronic digestive system diseases, mental stress, insomnia, excessive fatigue, emotional changes, endocrine disorders, infections, metabolic disorders, etc., external factors such as living environment, climate change, food, etc. can affect the occurrence of eczema. External stimuli such as sunlight, cold, dryness, heat, hot water scalding, and various animal skins, plants, cosmetics, soap, man-made fibers, etc. can be induced. It is a delayed allergy caused by complex internal and external factors.
Features of the rash
At first, it is an inflammatory red papule, about the size of a mung bean, and then gradually expands or merges into a brown-red patch, with a clear boundary, inflammatory blush around, obvious base infiltration, and multiple dry gray-white or silver-white scales on the surface. Gently scrape off the surface scales, and gradually reveal a layer of light red shiny translucent film, which is called film phenomenon. After scraping the film, small bleeding spots appear, called spotting bleeding. White scales, shiny films, and spotting bleeding are important features in the diagnosis of psoriasis, called the triad. Skin lesions: globular, coin-shaped, map-shaped, ring-shaped, band-shaped, generalized, seborrheic dermatitis-like, eczema-like, oyster shell-like, lichen planus-like, chronic hypertrophic, wart-like, etc. Prevalent site
