Hayfever

Pollen allergy is a common disease in allergy, and its incidence is increasing year by year, which seriously affects human health. Mainly manifested as catarrhal inflammation of the respiratory tract and conjunctiva, which may be accompanied by lesions of the skin and other organs. Pollen allergy has become a veritable epidemic.

According to expert research, there are two main reasons for this: On the one hand, people’s living standards have been improved, and people have consumed a large amount of high-protein and high-calorie diets such as eggs and meat products, resulting in the ability to produce antibodies in the body. Hyperactivity, so when encountering antigens such as pollen, is more prone to allergic reactions. On the other hand, because of air pollution, water pollution and the large-scale application of food additives, the human body is exposed to more antigenic substances, which promotes the occurrence of allergic diseases in humans.

The main symptoms

The diameter of pollen is generally about 30-50 microns. When they are dispersed in the air, they are easily inhaled into the respiratory tract. People with a history of pollen allergies will have allergic reactions after inhaling this pollen, which is a pollen allergy. The main symptoms of pollen allergy are sneezing, runny nose, watery eyes, an itchy nose, eyes, and external ear canal. In severe cases, it can also induce bronchitis, bronchial asthma, and pulmonary heart disease (mostly in summer and autumn). The reason why pollen can cause human allergies is that pollen is rich in protein, some of which are the main allergens that cause allergies.

Pollen allergy is also called hay fever, which is manifested by symptoms such as runny nose, sneezing, itchy nose and eyes, and cough. There are three main manifestations of hay fever in children:

One is "pollen allergic rhinitis", nasal itching, sneezing, runny nose, blocked nose, and poor breathing, etc.;

The second is "Pollen Allergic Asthma", which manifests as paroxysmal cough, difficulty breathing, white foamy mucus, sudden onset of asthma and getting worse, it is no different from normal people;

The third is "pollen allergic conjunctivitis", which is manifested as itchy eyes and swollen eyelids in children, often accompanied by watery or purulent mucus secretions.

Treatment method

Antihistamine therapy. Antihistamine therapy is the use of antihistamine drugs, such as chlorpheniramine, astemizole, minke, Karastan and so on. The disadvantage is that antihistamine therapy only works on histamine, which is an allergic mediator and has little effect on other allergic mediators. Antihistamines temporarily solved allergic symptoms, but the basis of allergies has not changed. Allergic mediators are still being released under the stimulation of allergens. Therefore, even if antihistamines are cured for a while, they will continue to recur. Moreover, the use of various hormones, antihistamines, antibiotics and other drugs itself can make the patient’s regulatory mechanism more burdensome, severely interfere with the patient’s original accurate endocrine system, and also cause the patient’s intestinal normal flora to be imbalanced, which further affects The patient’s intestinal absorption function, the normal absorption of vitamins, and various trace elements are affected, and foreign substances are easily absorbed into the body, causing the patient to enter a vicious circle. The patient's condition will be repeated after stopping the drug. Injection desensitization can sometimes cause the patient to become abnormal. reaction. This negative effect of allopathic therapy has been recognized by more and more patients and clinicians. For a long time, the traditional medicine field has not found an effective way to cure allergic diseases. The use of a large number of yellow amines and hormone drugs only relieves symptoms, and the side effects are extremely great, especially for the development of infants, children, and adolescents. Have a great impact. Allergic patients all relieve their symptoms in repeated episodes for many years, and the body's immunity is becoming increasingly weakened, which is extremely painful.

The most effective way to treat intractable allergies is to find allergy-inducing factors (allergens), but to accurately find the pathogenic factors among the common 3000 different pollen-inducing factors of plants is like looking for a needle in a haystack.
